This mobility exercise can be done from a variety of positions, including seated and quadruped as shown here, in a plank, or with your hands against a wall! The first bunch of times you do this will probably feel difficult, especially in one of the directions -- that's totally normal! - Holding neutral spine, move through the scapulae (aka shoulderblades) only - Draw a box by first sliding your shoulderblades "into your back pockets" - Push your shoulderblades forward - Slide them up toward your ears - Pinch them together, and repeat! - Draw boxes in the opposite direction
