Set up in athletic position facing forward with a ladder in front of you, a set of cones spaced like a ladder, or designated area ~5y long. *The "active leg" in this ladder is the one moving through the ladder. The "trail leg" is outside the ladder *Perform an A Skip strike into each box of the ladder with your active leg. Think about the big shapes and impactful strikes you want to make with this leg, pumping your arms to accentuate the movement. Knee drives up with toe flexed upward, then strike down with the back of the ball of the foot. Strong core, long spine. Arms drive in time with rotation at the midback. *Trail leg follows, staying relatively unengaged. Notice any left-right difference to help focus you mobility and soft tissue work later! *Repeat on the other side with the opposite leg being active.
