This footwork drill for ultimate works on reaccelerating out of changes of direction *Accelerate out of each change of direction by leading with your shoulders, pushing the ground away behind you *Swing your hips and feet in front of you to enter your change of direction *Stab out with the outside leg in each corner to power the change of direction *Execute a hip turn (open the gate!) to get your next foot going in the new direction, leading with your shoulders *Think about getting low into each turn (get in the tunnel!) *Mirror this pattern so you get to work both sides! *Bonus: if you have a buddy, practice throwing to the chest right at the cone - it’s like a trap side upline!
