Ladder: Jab-Crossover

This ladder helps open up the mid-back for strong changes of direction! - Use a ladder or set up cones or other markers to make one to work on proprioception; you can also do this without a ladder, practicing the steps for about 5y - Maintain athletic position, striking with the balls of the feet and letting the arms flow with your movements. - Standing next to the ladder and facing forward, "jab" into the first box with your inside foot, then step with both feet outside the ladder to travel forward. "Cross" by tapping the outside leg into the second box. Continue with "jab out out cross out out" as you travel forward. - Repeat on the other side so you cross over to the left and right!
