These drills are a great way to warm up and practice footwork for ultimate! *Accelerate out of each change of direction by leading with your shoulders, pushing the ground away behind you *Swing your hips and feet in front of you to enter your change of direction *Stab out with the outside leg in each corner to power the change of direction *Execute a hip turn (open the gate!) to get your next foot going in the new direction, leading with your shoulders *Think about getting low into each turn (get in the tunnel!) *First part shows offensive footwork, second is defensive (imagine Coach Bert is defending a cutter with force backhand) *Mirror these patterns so you get to work both sides! *Throw is optional if you have a buddy
