Sprint from Backward

This sprint variation works on a quick turn to sprint in a controlled environment so you’re ready to play great defense! - Set up facing backward from the direction you’ll sprint in ready position - This big turn is all about rotating through to torso and executing a hip turn! - For turning over the left shoulder, drive the right leg out backward as if you were laterally accelerating from that side (notice the right foot points away from the camera!), then open the left hip so your left leg points in the direction of travel - Make sure your hips are warmed up before practicing this move! - For added complexity, if you have a buddy you can have them call “left” or “right” and turn over that shoulder to practice reaction time
