BW SLDL (Light Support)

Your goals with SLDL progressions are to feel the work in your standing leg glute and hamstring, and to keep your hips level and free leg extended at the hip. Hinge on your standing leg hip to lower into the movement, with a soft knee so that your hips can bend but your shin stays relatively vertical. For the light support variation, set up next to a wall, counter, or other stable object you can tap or lean onto if your balance fails. Think about building a "tripod foot" - feel your big toe, outside front corner, and heel of your foot rooted into the ground.
